VP for Engineering
1. Makes technical presentations and demonstrates how product will meet
client’s needs and provide training and producing support materials for
sales team
a. Build reputation in technical sales. Persuades clients that a
product or service will best satisfy their needs and gains
customer’s acceptance by explaining and demonstrating cost
reduction and operations improvement
b. Confers with clients and engineers to assess requirements needs
and to determine systems requirement
2. Leads and supervises team of engineers and technicians
a. Develop, test, modify and create solutions to technical problems
b. Overseas production and quality control and research and
development of products
3. Develops and implements standards and procedures for engineering
4. Ensures compliance with laws and local legislation requirements,
anticipates future legislation advising customer or products, service and
equipment that adheres to such requirements
5. Oversees the preparation of engineering reports.
6. Approves budget and expenditures of Engineering Department
7. Supports sales team
a. Manages and interprets customer’s requirements
b. Travels to visit existing and potential clients
c. Reviews and evaluates technical proposals to clients
d. In trade shows, conferences and fora
8. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational
workshops, reviewing professional publication, establishing network and
participating in professional societies/organizations
9. Training/mentoring personnel to develop their skills/develop staff into
valuable technical people
a. Review and approve work plans of subordinates on a weekly basis
b. Regularly meets subordinates for operation meeting
c. Disciplining subordinates to ensure compliance with company
policies and ethical standards
d. Responsible for hiring and firing of subordinates
e. Review and approve work plans of subordinates on a weekly basis
10. Submit bi-monthly report to MANCOMM and senior stakeholder
11. Other tasks that management assigns in connection with his/her line of
1.?BSEE graduate with MBA or MSE
2.Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Post Graduate Diploma / Master’s Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Post Graduate Diploma / Master’s Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
3.?PRC License – REE/prefer PEE
4.?At least 10 years proven track record in the electrical industry at a
corporate level
5.?Must came from an Electric/Power Company.
6. Experience in customer support is a plus
