As an Assistant Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Business Development
2. Reporting and Planning
3. Ensuring compliance with an ethical conduct of business and relevant to the fulfillment of job responsibilities
4. Represent the company in relevant job-related customer calls, or external functions
5. Support the Sales Manager in providing managerial oversight on the Department’s staff, particularly with regards to compliance with governance, codes of conduct and discipline.
6. Prepare, submit and monitor compliance with the Department’s approved operating budget.
7. Plan and/or lead Company projects that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of University level degree holder of Business Management or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a sales position with the last two (2) years in a supervisory or management position, preferably in the chemical manufacturing industry.
  • Sound understanding of basic selling and marketing principles and relevant actual experience required.
  • Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid Driver’s License is required
